When were you last in the Fireside Room at Trinity? It is not just a room used by the Contemporary Issues class or for other meetings.
Stop by after worship on a Sunday and see all the books that you are welcome to take home and read. Some of the categories of books are Parenting, Children’s books (from board books to high school level), Devotionals, Methodism, Biblical History, Prayer, Evangelism, and World Religions. There are also many different translations of the Bible and commentary books.
The books for the United Methodist Women’s reading program are also located here. Anyone can check these out. There is a wonderful selection! If you have questions about the reading program, contact Linda Askeland at 847-259-7098.
Do you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles? Trinity now has a small lending collection in the Fireside Room. Take one and return it or another one when you are finished. Many of us did jigsaw puzzles when we were home during the pandemic. If you have puzzles you don’t want any more, add them to our collection.
