Trinity United Methodist Church continues to develop ministries to enhance the lives of children, men and women. Our Women’s ministries are designed to meet the needs all persons.
Our Purpose
The organized unit of United Women in Faith (UWIF) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Members of the United Women in Faith are actively involved in the life of the church through various ministries. We meet five times per year for a variety of programs, meals, and activities. United Women in Faith meet monthly in several small groups to enjoy Christian fellowship and development through a variety of presentations and programs.
This vital ministry is open to all women. The entire membership gathers two times a year to enjoy fellowship and a special program. The rest of the year we meet monthly as (small groups) Circles; Esther Circle meets in Trinity Hall at 1 pm on the 3rd Wednesday, Sarah Rachel Circle meets in the Fireside Room on the 3rd Thursday at 9:30 am (childcare is provided with advanced notice), and Susanna Wesley Circle meets at 7:30 pm in the Fireside Room on the 4th Monday of the month. Several fundraisers are held throughout the year. All UWIF proceeds go toward missions.
The General Membership gathers two times a year, usually in the Spring and Winter. A special program is planned for these meetings.
