Pastor’s Discretionary Fund
Did you know that we sometimes interact with those in need when they show up to our doorstep (Door #2) during the week? There’s a system in place to offer community resources based on need, and sometimes a gas or food card is provided in an emergency (but not ongoing) situation. Contact the office for more information on how you might be able to help by donating or purchasing gift cards for this Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.
We are Invited to an All-Ages Evening VBS
Our neighbors across the street at Martha and Mary Lutheran Church have invited Trinity families to an all-ages evening VBS.
They are meeting (all ages) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday July 31 – Aug 2 from 6 – 7:45 p.m.
Theme is the holy Trinity and will be making kites. Fried chicken dinner the last night. Call Ann Gay at 798.203.4613 for more information.
Love your Neighbor? We have to meet them first!
Save the Dates: August 4 and 5, 11am – 1:30pm.
Trinity is one of the few churches invited to participate in CCSD 59 Back to School Events. These are golden opportunities to take the church out of the building to meet and greet our neighbors! Friday’s event will be held at John Jay Elementary School, 1835 Pheasant Trail, Mount Prospect. Saturday’s event will be held at Black Hawk Mobile Home Park, 400 W. Touhy, Des Plaines.
