Next week, when school is back in session, items from our warming tree will be given to School District 59. Trinity collected 58 hats, 4 scarves, 13 pairs of mittens and 3 pairs of warm socks. Many of the hats were knitted by Renata Brezinski’s mother. Thank you to everyone who donated items to keep children warm during the cold winter months.

Giving Tree Sponsors
On behalf of the Salt Creek Giving Tree Recipient Families, we wanted to thank you for your donations to our holiday assistance program. With your support, 154 students received holiday gifts of winter gear, clothing and toys. It has been overwhelming to see the gifts come into the office over the last several weeks and days as the generosity of our community was so evident. Salt Creek Elementary is 60%+ low income in our demographics. Your generosity will make a huge difference in the holiday celebrations of our families. Thank you so much for your participation! Below are a few photos of the gifts gathered prior to distribution to our families.
Sincerely,
Becky Burright, LCSW School Social Worker
