Have you ever wondered where God is when bad things happen, whether God hears our prayers, or if the Bible is truly accurate? For this year’s Lenten Bible Study, you are invited to explore how doubt can be a path to a deeper encounter with God through the book “Wrestling with Doubt, Finding Faith,” written by Adam Hamilton, the best-selling author and senior pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. He approaches the most significant sources of doubt with honesty and insight, drawing on the wisdom of the Bible, Christian tradition, and his experience guiding thousands on their spiritual journeys.
The Lenten Bible Study will take place on Wednesday (6:30 pm – 7:30 pm) and Sunday (9:15 am – 10:00 am), starting on March 12 and concluding on April 13. You can choose either Wednesday or Sunday classes based on your availability. The sign-up sheet is available in the Narthex, by calling the church office at (847-439-0950), or by emailing officeadmin@trinitymp.org. If you would like to receive a book, it will be ready for pickup by March 2. The cost of the book is $12.
We pray that you will consider joining us as we journey with Jesus through the Lenten season.
