UWFaith Susanna Wesley Circle Invites You to Help Bring Love and Encouragement to Incarcerated Moms this Mother’s Day
This Mother’s Day, Trinity is partnering with Companions, Journeying Together, Inc. to provide hope and connection to incarcerated mothers in Illinois who are separated from their families. Companions has, for 35 years, been sending birthday and mother’s day cards, as well as providing blank cards for the imprisoned mothers to send to their families. How You Can Help:
1. Pray – Lift up these mothers in prayer as they face challenges of separation.
2. Contribute Materials Needed through March 30th (look for basket in the narthex):
✦ Stationery
Please Avoid: Plain white paper
✦ Cards (Mother’s Day, Thinking of You, Blank)
Please Avoid cards with: Glued items, glitter, stickers, crayon/marker
✦ Forever Postage Stamps
✦ Paper Lunch Bags
3. Provide a Monetary donation for delivery costs (Checks to Companions Journeying Together, Inc.)
4. Volunteer on Monday, March 31st at 5 pm in the Narthex to Assemble Mother’s Day Packets
