UMM Men’s Breakfast, Spring Business Meeting, and Annual Lenten Communion Service This Saturday, April 9, 2022
Key Men in Spiritual Leadership
Registrations are beginning to come in from those interested in participating in the Prairie Central District United Methodist Men’s Breakfast, Spring Business Meeting, and Annual Lenten Communion Service.
This all happens 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Our Saviour’s United Methodist Church, 701 East Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg.

All men are welcome, whether or not you are part of a chartered United Methodist Men’s group.
Highlights of the morning include:
- Greetings by Jim Nelson, President, Prairie Central District, United Methodist Men
- Breakfast hosted by the Scouts at Our Saviour’s United Methodist Church.
- Program by George Groves, President, United Methodist Men, Northern Illinois Conference, on a rebranding of the UMM. The national organization headquartered in Nashville will have just announced significant new features of UMM designed to make the organization more relevant, appeal to younger men, and improve services provided by UMM groups to various communities.
- A program by Jim Loeppert, Scouting Coordinator, Northern Illinois Conference, on the status of Scouting in our region and steps being taken to resolve legal issues confronting all organizations that sponsor Scouting.
- “The Tomb,” presented by Paul Dreiske of First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake, will challenge your intellect and emotions with his historical analysis of the resurrection.
- A Lenten communion service with Pastor David Lagos-Fonseca.
