Private Tour of Journey’s Hope Center

Trinity will be offering a private tour of the new Journey’s HOPE Center in Palatine
(1140 East Northwest Highway) on Wednesday, Februray 28th at 5:45 pm!

Thanks to Kathy Moulds for arranging this. No registration required. Just show up!

The HOPE Center is a day resource center that provides free services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. 

Services Provided:

  • Food Pantry
  • Clothing Closet
  • Hot Meals
  • Laundry
  • Shower Facilities
  • Access to voicemail and email
  • Mailbox
  • Limited Transportation Assistance
  • Onsite nursing care
  • Professional referrals | doctors, dentists, lawyers
  • Occasional travel and food vouchers
  • Lockers
  • Intensive case management
  • Mental health counseling
  • Housing assistance
  • Vocational counseling
  • Outreach services
  • Budgeting and financial stability
  • Resume design, interviewing, and computer skills

Bishop Announces New Lake North District Superintendent

Bishop Dan Schwerin has announced the appointment of Rev. Victor O. Melad Jr. as Lake North District Superintendent, effective July 1, 2024. Rev. Melad currently serves at Edison Park and Oak Park: St. John’s and will follow Rev. Brittany Isaac, who has been appointed as lead pastor at Arlington Heights: First, effective July 1, 2024.
