As we give thanks for the generosity for our Fall Campaign, we express our gratitude not only for the pledges, but for the gifts we have already received. Out of the almost $609,000 (!!!) pledged for the Mission and Ministry portion of the campaign, we have already received gifts totaling over $206,000. This cash flow has allowed us to move forward with the first phase of the HVAC project, which will be fully complete in the late Spring. Thank you for your generosity, and prayerful investment in Trinity’s future…with HOPE!

Ministry Spotlights Shine in 2022
Congregational Care Team
We are excited to welcome Tom Weaver as our guest presenter in Sunday school on February 6th following the Children’s Message in worship. Tom has served in many leadership roles including music, children, and youth ministries. He will shine a spotlight on Trinity’s Congregational Care ministry. Children will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what it means to belong to a church community.
Ministry Spotlight Goals
- Make connections between Bible stories about Jesus’ ministry and Trinity’s ministries in the world today.
- Establish and nurture relationships between children and unrelated adults in the Trinity community.
- Encourage young people to wonder how they might be called to ministry and discipleship.
- Further strengthen and develop our church ministries with youth and children.

Safety Check 2022
As the return to in-person Sunday school and worship gains momentum, precautions to ensure the well-being of all who connect with Trinity are being reviewed and tuned-up.
- Trinity’s Safe Church Awareness training includes information from a variety of sources including Mount Prospect police and fire officials who tailored their recommendations to Trinity’s unique ministry setting. The 1-hour training is essential for all adults and students. Watch for an announcement of the latest version available soon.
- Trinity’s Child/Youth Protection Policy (last revised in October 2019) has been updated and will be reviewed by church leaders at the January Church Council meeting.
- Staff recently completed the newest Safe Gatherings online training to prevent abuse of children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
All parents and adult caregivers are asked to complete the Student Safety information for Sunday school and youth group participation in 2022.
