United Voices for Children 5th Sunday Offering

October 31 is the last Northern Illinois Conference 5th Sunday in 2021!

We appreciate what you and/or your congregation has done this year to make a difference in the lives of at-risk children, youth and families.

For more than 30 years, United Voices for Children has helped congregations serve Northern Illinois’ most vulnerable populations through our partnership with Kids Above All, MYSI and Rosecrance.

Lake North Dist. Ravinia-style Worship 9/19

Reconnect with God and each other in this Ravinia-style worship. As the NEW Lake North District, we hope you’ll join us for a time to gather and worship outdoors!

Bring your own lawn chair and/or blanket, plus and afternoon snack or late lunch/early dinner. Come to see old friends and meet new friends, come to worship and praise God together!

Our offering will go to First Vietnamese, as the inside of their building has been destroyed and needs to be completely repaired.

NOTE: We will worship indoors if needed, according to the weather.

Good Samaritan Fund

Trinity supports local community needs in many ways. We feed PADS guests, and support the District 59 food and supplies ministries. In addition, we maintain a Good Samaritan fund. This fund provides food and gas gift cards for needy individuals as well as occasionally helping Trinity members and friends in need. Donations to the Good Samaritan fund can be made online, in the church offering, or by mailing to the church office.

School District 59

Click here to order Food4Kids gift cards for D59 families. Scrip gift cards purchased through Trinity are an excellent way to provide families with a flexible means of purchasing essential items. Families’ current needs include: socks and underwear for children and youth in Kindergarten through junior high.

Community Consolidated School Districts 59 include families living adjacent to our church building and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Mount Prospect, Elk Grove Village and Des Plaines. Families’ greatest everyday needs include child care, cleaning and laundry supplies, diapers, paper towels, hand sanitizer, garbage bags, feminine hygiene products, and quarters for laundromats. The Empowerment Fund administered by the District 59 Foundation receives cash donations that help pay utility bills. Scrip gift cards purchased through Trinity are an excellent way to provide families with a flexible means of purchasing essential items.
