Summer Suppers began 13 years ago as a way to provide food for the homeless when the PADS season closed for the summer months. It is hosted by local churches in our community. Every evening from May 1 through September 30 a host church serves a hot meal from 6:30 -7:30pm.  Summer Suppers reaches beyond the homeless and provides a free meal to all families who are in need.  All who are hungry will be served. There is no sign-up.

Trinity’s current dates are August 9, and September 13.

Help is needed for set up, serving and cleanup. Please arrive at Trinity Hall by 5:15pm.

Solar Oven Partners for the Dominican Republic

“There are so many Dominicans who do not receive a living wage and live on the edge of being hungry,” says long-time Global Ministries missionary Gordon Graner. “Any money they can save by using solar energy — which is free to all — instead of paying for fuel is more significant than I had imagined.”

Gordon continues by saying he believes half the population of the Dominican Republic would benefit from a solar oven.

Our donations will help impoverished people use free solar energy to cook, pasteurize drinking water, and help the environment. Please consider donating.

April 28 and May 5th

Saturdays and Sundays in the Community Wing

Weekends are busy at the south end of Trinity church. For many years children and families have gathered for Christian education and child care on Sunday mornings. What may be a surprise to some is the variety and number of activities throughout the morning on Saturdays!

Although Trinity’s “Education Wing” hasn’t been officially renamed “Community Wing,” folks who lead ministries in that space have come to recognize it as a place for people in our church and the local community to gather for fellowship, learning, and free childcare. Many are delighted to discover a well-organized treasure trove of furniture, beds, and basic household items every family needs. (If you haven’t seen it yet, you are invited to take a tour of Su Casa on May 5th).
