Life Groups for Lent

6-week groups

What is a Life Group?

A Life Group is a small group, focused on supporting one another and growing in faith. During Lent, our Life groups will use the “Lord’s Prayer” Study as our focus.  In the future, our Trinity Life Groups may be more focused on a specific need, like parenting, or mental health, or grief, using a guided curriculum.

Lent 2022 is a time when we’ll be launching a few Life Groups, in preparation for more to come this year.  

Because Lent is a time to seek new life, we want to encourage you to sign up for our Life Groups for Lent – most of these will meet Thursday mornings and evenings, but if you’d prefer another time, we will do our best to provide alternatives!

Life is not easy right now, so let’s build community as we learn, pray, and encourage one another!

Lent @ Trinity

Ash Wednesday Worship
March 2 at Noon (in person) and 7 pm (online and in person)
½ hour worship with prayer, song, movement and imposition of ashes – family friendly (if you can’t join us in person, please plan to zoom into the evening worship!)

The Journey of Lent is all about moving towards new life at Easter. Sometimes, we need to give something up (release) in our lives, in order to embrace  the abundant life God wants for us and for our world. Sometimes, we need to take something on something new – an intention of some kind. Each week in the eblast, look for opportunities to give to others, ways to be intentional about giving something up or taking something on, and an invitation to discover the power of prayer and action through our all church focus on The Lord’s Prayer. It’s a prayer we say every Sunday, and some of us every day.  How can we tap into its  power to change the way we pray, and the way we follow Jesus?

  1. Maundy Thursday Dinner Church at 6 pm – info coming on how to reserve your spot, for this simple catered meal and worship experience for all ages!
  2. Good Friday Worship with choir, scripture and song, featuring the Stations of the Cross
  3. Easter Worship at 10:30, with full choir and brass ensemble!
