As this year of Covid-19 winds to a close, I want to reach out and thank you for your spirit of generosity, and to remind you of three things we never dreamed we’d need to do, OR be able to do well!
These ministries are directly related to what you made possible; so, you’ve got a big part in this.
In 2020, we’ve been blessed to…
- Live stream our worship!
Your generosity has made it possible for us to support our staff and volunteer tech team, as we’ve purchased new equipment and responded to covid needs, bringing worship into homes everywhere – each and every week! - Share the love of Jesus with our neighbors!
- We’ve built new relationships with schools in District 59, offering almost $5,000 in food gift cards to families in need.
- Our ministry with PADS (Journeys) continues! We are preparing, packing, and delivering 40 meals monthly for our homeless/transient friends, in local motels.
- Create new community partnerships!
As the sin and division caused by racism was exposed yet again in our nation, we’ve been led to partner with a local Mount Prospect community group: BREATHE (Bringing Racial Equality, Amplified Through Human Engagement). We’ve hosted these intentional conversations about race in a covid-safe manner, throughout the early fall, and now have moved them entirely to our zoom platform.
And so much more…
So again… thank you! Thank you for being a part of what God is doing through Trinity! Our beloved church has never closed, and YOUR giving has made all the difference!
As we come into these last few days of the year and you are looking over your gift list, remember God’s love for you. And then prayerfully consider making a special (over andabove regular giving) Christmas gift to the mission of our church. Your gift today willhelp us start next year off strong.
You can mail your gift directly to the church or click here to offer your give online.
Thank you for your generosity. The best is yet to come!
Pastor Wendy

P.P.S. We hope you’ll join us for Christmas Eve Worship, 4 pm (brief ½ hour worship) and 7 pm (Lessons and Carols). Our music and worship team is preparing two beautiful ways for you to worship from home (find the zoom links in next week’s eblast, newsletter, and at www.trinitymp.org)
For a song to inspire you, here’s our Trinity Youth And Chancel Choir back in March, singing Mark Miller’s “Child of God”
