Each year Trinity’s Outreach Committee picks 11 projects to emphasize – one a month (January to November). Click here for a chart showing what has been donated as of the end of the 3rd quarter. As of now, not all of the goals have been met. The emphasis for this month is Kids Above All and for November it is Trinity PADS. Donations for any of the projects can be made at any time, not just the Sunday when it is emphasized during the church service.
Giving
We Surpassed Our Goal!
As we give thanks for the generosity for our Fall Campaign, we express our gratitude not only for the pledges, but for the gifts we have already received. Out of the almost $609,000 (!!!) pledged for the Mission and Ministry portion of the campaign, we have already received gifts totaling over $206,000. This cash flow has allowed us to move forward with the first phase of the HVAC project, which will be fully complete in the late Spring. Thank you for your generosity, and prayerful investment in Trinity’s future…with HOPE!
Trinity Christmas Giving To Missions
December 15, 2021
Dear Trinity Faith Community, Friends and Partners in Mission:
As 2021 draws to a close, I hope and pray that you will experience the true gifts of Christmas: peace, hope, joy and love. I join our Trinity leaders in expressing our gratitude for each of you. It’s been quite a year for us all! The generous response to A Future With Hope Campaign this fall has been an incredible testimony to the resilience, generosity, and faithfulness of our congregation.
With all of the challenges of this past year, we remain fully committed to living into this vision:
A Center for Community, with Christ at the Center
To do this, we want to intentionally build relationships with our neighbors near and far! Will you join us in loving our neighbors, by offering a gift? Our Trinity Christmas giving will be offered to two of our partner organizations:
- WINGS: Women In Need Growing Stronger
offering housing, services, education and advocacy, to end domestic violence
- UMCOR: United Methodist Committee on Relief
an international aid ministry, offering disaster relief all over the world
You can give online through the link here.
We invite you to join us for worship on Christmas Eve, December 24.
- 3 p.m. worship: casual, with the Praise Band, Carols, and the Christmas Story (in person only)
- 7 p.m. worship: lessons and carols, choirs and candles, and the Hallelujah! Chorus (online and in person)
May God bless you and yours in this holy season. May your life be a house for all that is holy and just, good and righteous. May Jesus be born again in our hearts, for our own sake, and for the healing of the world!
Every Blessing,
Pastor Wendy Hardin Hermann
A Future With Hope: Mission and Ministry in our Parking Lot!
As we seek to be a Center for Community, with Christ at the Center, building relationships with our neighbors is at the center of all that we do. 170 people flooded our parking lot for our first ever Trinity Trunk or Treat last Saturday. It was fun! It was rewarding! It was great to meet some new neighbors and partner with our newly relaunched Trinity Preschool! Looking to a Future With Hope means that we try new things in the name of loving our neighbors.
