Support Trinity Through Gift Card Fundraising

Join us in making a difference while you shop! Trinity United Methodist Church is excited to have an initiative where you can help support our community programs by simply purchasing gift cards from your favorite retailers. A portion of each purchase will directly benefit Trinity UMC, allowing us to continue our mission of service and outreach. Whether you’re buying for yourself or for loved ones, it’s a win-win! Order forms are in the Narthex or online shopping at raiseright.com. Orders are due by the 1st Sunday of the month (December 7th) and happy shopping!

“Love Your Neighbor Next Door/Food4Kids”

Families in school districts 59 and 214 live adjacent to our church building and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Mount Prospect, Elk Grove Village, and Des Plaines. Families’ greatest needs are gift cards that can be purchased through the Trinity Scrip program. These cards provide a flexible means of purchasing essential items including food and personal care products.

Funeral Planning as a Spiritual Practice
Pastor Wendy will present some of the nuts and bolts of planning for a funeral at Trinity. We’ll have some information available from the Memorial Committee, and suggestions for how to have intentional conversations with loved ones about your desires for end of life care. This “lunch and learn” is appropriate for planning for your own funeral/end of life wishes, or for gaining information about how to support loved ones.

Salt Creek School Giving TreeWish Lists Available Now!

Once again Trinity is invited to sponsor local students through “The Giving Tree” at Salt Creek Elementary School.  Here’s how:

  • Click this link to the Giving Tree Sponsor Form & student information form.
  • Complete and submit the form to receive an email with the student’s wishlist.
  • Please spend at least $30 per child.
  • Place your unwrapped gift in a STURDY GIFT BAG without tissue paper.
  • Securely attach a label with the Family Number to the outside of the bag.
  • Bring your gift to Trinity for a blessing in worship on Sunday, December 10.
