God’s Big Story in Advent (click here to download)
The Bible is hundreds of small stories and also one big story. It’s natural to have surprises, questions and doubts when we read the Bible. And it’s normal for parents not to have all the answers! God speaks to all of us individually through the Bible. Because God made us individually, we will all connect with God differently. As we read the Bible it helps us build up a picture of who God is and what God does; we begin to comprehend a bit about God’s nature and character.

God’s Big Story in Advent is a collection of weekly Advent devotions, suggested activities and questions to ponder. During Advent families are invited to explore these stories and reflect on them together.

What Bible should we use? Trinity has a collection of storybook Bibles that make the scriptures more accessible to children. See Jacki for suggestions. BibleGateway.com offers multiple versions and translation of the Bible. The Common English Bible (CEB), New International Version (NIV), and The Message (MSG) are a good fit for stronger readers.

Tiny Tunes – for children 1.5 – 3 years old with adult  9:30 – 10 am
Sing’n’Shake – for children 3-5 years old with adult  10:15 – 10:55 am
